My Uncle Bluey Wins ATOM Award

Link funded documentary, My Uncle Bluey has won an Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM) Award for Best Documentary Short Subject.

The ATOM Awards were announced on Friday 23 October at the Plaza Ballroom of Melbourne’s Regent Theatre.

My Uncle Bluey was directed by Britt Arthur and produced by James Grandison and is a personal story about the things that tear families apart, what brings them back together, and how your family is always your family.

West Australian documentary My Asian Heart has also won an ATOM Award for Best General Documentary. My Asian Heart was produced by Carmelo Musca, CM Films, and producer/director David Bradbury, Frontline Films. The documentary follows award winning photographer Philip Blenkinsop on assignments in Nepal, China and Bangkok.

Link is an initiative funded by ScreenWest and managed by FTI to promote short film production in Western Australia.
