The Film & Television Institute WA is seeking applications from filmmakers interested in crewing for the 2008 MAKING MOVIES ROADSHOW tour.
The MAKING MOVIES ROADSHOW is a filmmaking workshop and screening program touring to 8 regional WA locations between May to November 2008. The MAKING MOVIES ROADSHOW is a workshop program that teaches 12 youth or adult participants fundamental filmmaking skills. In the 5-day workshop the crew facilitates the production of 1-4 short films, which are then screened to the wider community.
It is essential for crew to have practical filmmaking skills, a passion for the project and be highly motivated. The successful applicants will ideally have filmmaking industry experience, excellent communication abilities, touring experience in regional communities and appropriate technical knowledge.
