Local indie feature film The Toll has recently been selected to screen at the Naperville Independent Film Festival in Chicago, and the Edmonton International Film Festival in Canada.
The Toll, directed by Zak Hilditch, produced by Antony Webb and Zak Hilditch, including a cast of Steve McCall and Nick Britton, will also be making its world premiere at CinefestOz later this month in Busselton.
The film follows Steve and his best mate Nick, who embark on a journey to the Western Australian town of Denmark. Following a tip off, they go in search of the buried fortune of a recently deceased farmer. Armed with what they believe to be the map to the supposed fortune, the pair quickly bite off more than they can chew as their forest setting closes in on them, testing their resolve and their friendship.
