The Australian Red Cross would like to invite audiences to a special screening of War/Dance. The film follows the courageous efforts of the students of Patongo, Northern Uganda, who overcomes the terror of war and pour their hearts into winning Uganda’s most famous music competition.
Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary, War/Dance explores the tragic consequences of what happens when rules of war are not followed, but also highlights the strength and resilience of the victims.
All profits from the event will be donated to the Patonga Fund.
