WAnimate invites you to a special June event!

Alan Lindsay, Producer, Writer, Director and Managing Director of Vue DC Pty Ltd., will talk about the new Bunbury facility.

In October 2009 the Vue Group opened a new facility in Bunbury. Here the group has a lead animation and visual effects studio, a production facility and the Australian Centre for Digital Innovation (ACDI). The new facility runs in parallel with the Vue Group’s documentary and drama production and is the home for Vue Group’s new feature film ventures. Vue Group also has a Melbourne production company and the ACDI has shop fronts in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Manchester.

Alan will also be touching on some of his experience earned over 39 years in broadcast production and 19 years as managing director of production company Vue Group, Alan has over 140 productions, documentary and drama to his credit as writer, producer and/or director.

WAM BAM 2010 networking opportunity
WAM BAM is the exciting, intensive and fun 48 hour speed animation competition run by the West Australian animation association, WAnimate.

This unique competition pits several teams against each other in an all-out battle to cook up the most creative, animated film they can – all within the incredibly challenging deadline.
