Funding Deadlines

With the increase in the number of Production Assistance schemes managed by FTI in recent years, along with the increase in the quality and in competitiveness in the applications, FTI has been going through a review period to assess the best way to offer script advisory services to Members and clients alike.

As a result FTI announces Script Advice Days, heavily subsidised script advice from an experienced industry professional during a one on one meeting.

Get your short film scripts (under 20 pages) read and assessed by James Bogle. Explore what is working in the narrative, what isn’t and discuss ideas for how to fix it!

FEE: $50 for FTI Members, $100 Non-Members.

INCLUDES: Prior assessment of the script and then a one hour face to face meeting with a industry professional.

PROCESS: Scripts are emailed to Production Support, who forwards them onto the script assessor/editor. Your script will be read prior to the meeting and the assessor will come to the meeting prepared with notes for discussion. Sessions take place at a pre-scheduled date and time.

These sessions are recommended to people applying for FTI funding and others seeking professional advice on their scripts.

The aim is to have meetings take place on Tuesday 23 February – for those wanting last minute LINK application advice.
