Passengers, written and directed by Michael Bond and starring Multi Logie Winner Cameron Daddo, will showcase at The Adelaide Fringe Film Festival, in two screenings scheduled for February 24 and 26, 2010.
Passengers was made by a small team of ex-pat Aussie filmmakers who met in Los Angeles and decided to create something around the lives of real people; something emotionally invasive and above all, distinctly Australian. Passengers was shot in LA and post produced in Australia.
Australians Tom and Melony set out from their home in Santa Monica to have dinner with friends in Hollywood. Its Friday night, naturally they hit traffic. By the time they arrive their marriage is over!
Passengers opens a heart wrenching window into the lives of a married couple whose relationship is being tested to the limits by the burden of ambition and relocation to another country.
Cameron Daddo plays Tom alongside AFI Award Winner Angie Milliken as Melony, and Golden Globe Winner Bruce Davison.
