Death of the Megabeasts nominated for APRA-AGSC Award

Western Australian composer Ash Gibson Greig has been nominated in the “Best Music for a Documentary” section at this year’s Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA) and Australian Guild of Screen Composers (AGSC) Screen Music Awards for Death of the Megabeasts. The Awards ceremony will take place on Monday November 2, 2009 in Sydney.
Produced by Prospero Productions, documentary Death of the Megabeasts journeys back 60,000 years to discover what caused an eco-system collapse that wiped out Australia’s megafauna and turned the continent into a desert.
ScreenWest would like to congratulate Ash and wish him good luck at the Awards ceremony.
