The Aquarium
Short film The Aquarium, funded through the Film and Television Institute – FTI & ScreenWest LINK production initiative, has been accepted into the Mid Ulster Film Festival in Northern Ireland.
The Aquarium is written and directed by Ben Young and produced by Martina Breen with Torstein Dyrting the Director of Photography. The film is a bizarre, character driven, short comedy about a young man who is forced to choose between his own success at the fish finger company he works or the happiness of a five year old girl.
The Mid Ulster Film Festival is a yearly tribute to independent cinema, showcasing a diverse program of features, documentaries, shorts, animation, workshops and seminars, for an appreciative audience seeking non-Hollywood fare, in a relaxed non-competitive environment.
LINK offers drama and animation projects $30,000 and documentaries $20,000.
