KEYFRAME Project
Animation Centre
The Film and Television Institute in Fremantle is currently seeking new project ideas for its KEYFRAME program that assists the development of new animation projects at the FTI Animation Centre.
The KEYFRAME program is free for successful applicants and aims to facilitate the development of new animation projects, pilot programs, and games through professional mentoring and facilities provision.
Once the projects have been selected, up to sixty creative artists can gain production experience in a professional animation studio and develop their industry skills through participation in the KEYFRAME projects, which assists bridging the gap between training and employability.
Graeme Watson, Professional Development and Training Manager, said, “The KEYFRAME program which was launched in 2005 has been very successful in providing a hothouse of creativity and focused project development.
“For 2008 we are particularly interested in innovative ideas for animation especially in the areas of series concepts, cross platform storytelling and projects that find innovative new uses for animation or explore new production techniques.”
Applications are due by 5pm Tuesday 3 June Download here
