'Eight Letter Word' selected for Newtown Flicks

Perth film ‘An Eight Letter Word’, directed by FTI video production graduate Matt Hodgekinson and produced by Karla Nessfield, has been selected for the Newtown Flicks 2008 Festival.
The film will screen on Sunday June 1st as part of the ‘Sunday Soothers’ section of the program.
Newtown Flicks meets the demands of the underground Sydney short film industry by providing two and a half days of music and film focused Australian content. The festival is filmmaker friendly, being unconcerned with premiere status or production dates, “Your film may even have a (insert 2008 item) in it.”
