Film Festivals
The prized annual event is back, showcasing the diversity and talent of Western Australia’s emerging filmmakers. Film lovers and filmmakers will again be treated to a select program of WA short films and have the opportunity to meet the budding local filmmaking talent. This year’s event features a dynamic mix of light and dark, fact and fiction, live action and animation.
“Get Your Shorts On!” showcases a fresh crop of WA shorts funded through FTI initiatives , including joint initiatives with ScreenWest, the ABC, and Nickelodeon. Through these schemes, FTI seeks to encourage developing filmmakers who are looking to embark on a serious career in the screen industry.
