Marie works in a highly efficient, but also highly impersonal, results-driven corporate office. She is a willing cog in the corporate wheel, and she works incredibly hard, but she
is modest, unassuming, and not particularly ambitious; as such, she is also over-worked, underappreciated and ignored.
Her boss doesn’t even know who she is, and her co-workers are so wrapped up in their own results-oriented worlds that they don’t even look at each other.
So one day, after a particularly disheartening incident, Marie decides to conduct an experiment. The following day, she turns up to work completely naked.
To her total amazement – and not a little amusement – she manages to complete an entire day’s work without any of her fellow employees, or her boss, noticing her lack of
clothing.
Having confirmed the awful truth, Marie hands in her resignation and marches naked and defiant through – and out of – the corporate cubefarm…liberated by her own nudity.
