Western Australia is the final frontier for tow truck drivers. It’s the only state where towies can still listen in to police scanners and race for a prang. Harold, a sixty-seven year old towie based in the industrial suburb of Midland, is one of the last real tow-truck cowboys. But when a police contract arrives in WA, accidents are taken off the radio-waves and many independent towies are forced off the road. Times are tough and things only get harder when Harold’s only employee falls in love and leaves the business. Harold is getting older and the work is not getting any easier. Without any support left, Harold is the lone ranger. But is he too old to keep on trucking?
