Overview

The annual Raw Nerve scheme is a joint initiative of Screen Australia, the Film & Television Institute of WA (FTI) and Screen Development Network (SDN) the national network of screen resource organisations.

The scheme aims to provide early career filmmakers with an opportunity to showcase their filmic storytelling ability.

Projects can be of any genre, but projects must be under 10 minutes long. Traditionally, dramas and documentaries have been funded.

Projects must be independent productions and cannot be produced as part of any course work.

In 2012 there are provisions for mentors to be attached to the projects.

The deadline for applications is 4pm, Thursday 1st March 2012. NO late applications will be accepted.
