2010 ROMCOM SCRIPT COMPETITION
The Australian Writers’ Guild and Inscription have joined forces to present the 2010 RomCom Script Competition, allowing an Australian writer to work with two of the world’s leading romantic comedy gurus, Michael Hauge and Steven Kaplan.
One lucky screenwriter will participate in a two and a half day Master class with Kaplan and Hauge and will then have a number of one on one sessions with the pair to fine tune their film or television romantic comedy script. The total prize is worth $8,800 however the value of the opportunity is literally priceless and the AWG expect this to be one of their most popular initiatives yet. More
INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY STORIES
ScreenWest in partnership with FTI is calling for applications from Indigenous communities who are interested in recording, preserving and archiving the stories, accomplishments and reflections of their community members.
Indigenous Community Stories is an initiative which is aiming to film 100 Western Australian Indigenous stories and digitally archive them for future generations to view over the next 100 years and beyond. More

I’VE SEEN FILMS: ENTER NOW
After the very successful 2008 Edition, I’ve Seen Films International Film Festival announced today, along with its founder, the international artist Ruger Hauer, that the Festival’s Third Edition will be held in 2010 in Milan, Italy.
