FTI’s Equipment & Facilities Department offers production equipment, editing suites and multi-media facilities for hire to FTI members as well as the general public. Members who have selected Option 2 membership enjoy a 25% discount on hire fees for work on non-commercial projects.

With high definition having become the standard across all film production, an on-set, HD monitoring system becomes critical. Available now for hire from FTI is the Ikan V8000 HDMI field monitor, providing a HD monitoring solution for your production needs.
The V8000HD LCD Monitor is a 7”, PAL / NTSC versatile, high definition LCD monitor in a wide screen form factor to match today’s demands for 16:9 and cinema-scope aspect ratios. It supports multiple HD / SD standards via HDMI, component, S-Video and composite connections, and also includes a loop thru for all inputs. It’s high resolution, 2000:1 contrast ratio and 65 degree viewing angle makes it perfect for shot composition / focusing needs, and it’s extremely lighweight, ideal for convenient, quick attachment to cameras, cranes and jibs.
Included with the Ikan V8000 is a mains power supply / charger and onboard battery attachment, providing up to 2hrs battery life.
