If a booking is subject to discounts under any FTI assistance scheme, this must be stated at the time of booking. Discounts will not be applied retrospectively to bookings already made and/or hires already completed.
All hires must be paid “cash on pick up” or “cash on commencement”. Where the total hire is not determinable, incremental payments in advance will be required.

NO CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN, unless the hirer has an approved credit account with FTI. Credit accounts are available to government departments only. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, Mastercard or Visa.

  • A refundable bond may be payable in relation to the hire of all equipment and/or facilities.
  • The hirer shall be responsible for all transport costs of equipment from and to FTI.
  • Any insurance claims resulting from the hire of equipment and/or facilities will be subject to a $1,000 excess, payable by the hirer.

FTI endeavours to provide all equipment and facilities in proper working order, however the hirer is required to ensure that all equipment is operating to a satisfactory level and that all necessary accessories are included, prior to acceptance of the equipment and/or facilites.

FTI equipment is insured within Australian states and territories only. If the hirer intends to take any FTI equipment outside of Australia, the hirer must purchase additional insurance from their own insurer. Evidence of this additional insurance must be sighted before equipment will be released to the hirer.

Financial FTI members who have selected Option 2 Membership are eligible for a 25% discount on equipment and facilities hires, provided the hired equipment and/or facilities are used in relation to a non-commercial project. The definition of non-commercial is at the discretion of FTI.

Discount does not apply to services such as technical assistance, video editors and dubbing or tapestock and other consumables.

Prices listed on this website were correct at the time of printing, however they are subject to change without notice. Please confirm all prices with FTI Facilities personnel at the time of booking.
