FTI is a great place to make films. Members can seek out advice on production and scripts, and we give out grants to help you make them, both equipment and cash.

You can find crew for your production in our Crew Database and if you need equipment we’ve got that too, available to both members and non-members, but members get a better price.

You’ll also find information here on all of the films we’ve already helped to make at FTI.

Promote Your Short Film

Before you shoot your next short, FTI highly recommends Flickerfest’s Filmmakers Resource so that you secure marketing materials while still on set. It has information on Press Kit requirements, film festivals and more.

FTI Fund

The One-Off Members Production Fund – affectionately known as OOMPF! is a fund which provides the successful recipient(s) with a budget of $5,000 cash and $5,000 in-kind support to make a short drama or documentary production.
