Careerlink students complete Certificate II Course at FTI

Eighteen students from Careerlink celebrated completing their Certificate II in Multimedia today at FTI. The students, who are all in Year 12, have visited FTI for 1 day a week since February, slowly building up their skills in camera operation, non linear editing, web page design and screen industry knowledge.
For their major assignment the students were required to create a 5 minute documentary that was on a subject matter related to Fremantle. The students then adaptd their films for web
presentation and delivery.
The five short films created covered the topics of Fremantle Prison, Grafitti Vadalism, Wake Boarding, Scate Boarding and Street Buskers. The students developed their story ideas,
completed filming, interviews and preproduction with mentorship from their Instructors Diana Ford, Mellisa Ryan, Paul Giovanetti and Daniel Gallagher.
