2005
In 2005, the Making Movies Roadshow toured as far north as Yakanarra Community in the Kimberley to Margaret River in the South West. With some fantastic filmmakers working on the project throughout the year, the 2005 films have been fresh and raw.
The first suspense drama created as part of the Roadshow “The Fishing Pig” was produced in Noonkanbah, a teenage love story was created in South Hedland, in addition to animated rodeos, comedy football stories, hunting films and music videos created across the state. This year, a behind the scenes look at the Roadshow was featured on the SBS Movie Show.
Of particular interest was the Katanning workshop, which included the production of a documentary looking at stories behind paintings of the Child Artists of Carrolup and their return to Katanning from a gallery in New York.
