Filmmaking Fundamentals

Our popular Filmmaking Fundamental workshops are designed to provide a comprehensive introduction into key skill areas of filmmaking.

There are four courses in the series; Introduction to Digital Production 1 & 2, Editing with Final Cut Pro, and Scriptwriting. FTI is also running a short course on Acting for the Screen.

You may choose to do all the courses in the series or just the individual ones that appeal to you. It doesn’t matter which order you take the classes in either. These courses are scheduled continually throughout the year.

Your motivation may be to make a short film, use video recording skills at work, or just make better home movies – whatever your motivation, taking these workshops will certainly improve your filmmaking skills.

All the workshops are delivered by professional filmmakers who are experts in their chosen field.
