Can you quote a single line from a song or film without getting the usual copyright clearances? Using an entire song would of course not be fair without paying for it, but a single line?
How about paraphrasing the same? Is that fair use in a short? I'm a newbie to this game, and would love to get a bit of guidance. I've called ArtsLaw, no reply yet ...
Thanks in advance!
