    Hi
    I need some help making a decision. I want to buy a new camera and have had a look at HVR-V1P. Has anyone shot with this cam in SD? I have read reviews that in low-light conditions it is not as good as the PD 170. Does anyone know how much worse it is then the PD 170?

    Hi,
    I've got the HVR-VIP. I've never used it in SD but you are welcome to hire it for a day for $80 if you would like to test it against the PD170.
