    WA's isolation breeds inventive, original and distinctive talent as confirmed recently with all the nominations: BAFTA (I mean BAFTA!!!!) for Lockie Lenard and all associated; well done)!
    Likewise the AFI's - a huge WA contingent! I'll be watching and cheering both ceremonies through my TV.
    Even the ATOM awards - huge congratulations to John Petricevic for 'Touched'.
    Let's hope those who are named get to stand there and receive their awards. And it's not just those named we should applaud but everyone associated - every single member of the team!
