MAJ MONOLOGUES - "SUBURBAN MAYHEM"
Fancy yourself as an award winning script writer? Well here is your chance.
Write a monologue with expected performance duration of 8 to 15 minutes.
You can be as creative, entertaining, funny or dramatic as you like with your interpretation of the theme: “SUBURBAN MAYHEM.”Submit your original monologue entry with six identical hard copies to reach
His Majesty's Theatre by 5pm, Friday 24 April 2009.
If your entry is selected as one of the eight finalists by the panel of Maj Monologues Competition judges, your monologue will be performed live as part of a five-performance finals season DownStairs at the Maj. The winners in each category will be announced following the final performance on Saturday 20 June 2009.Categories and Prizes:
Judges' Choice $3,000
Hawaiian People's Choice $1,000
