Tech Talk: Problems with DVD encoding - Using Nero

    Just wondering if anyone has had similar problems with Nero.
    It seems that video files that are faultless when played on pc.. once burnt to dvd all of a sudden aquire all sorts of audio skipping.

    I am going to try another burning software this week.. See how I go.
    I have posted in the Nero forum but they don't have a solution!
    grr.
    Problem is with Nero 6.5... if I uninstall and try Nero 7.. *that* problem goes.. but Audio on the menu screen starts skipping.
    very frustrating.
    will be getting Ulead authoring software in the next week. hopefully this will help

    Nero is notoriously bad when authoring DVD's. My only advice would be to ensure it's fully updated. When I've had problems an update sometimes helped.

    I would recommend Encore, I've never had a problem with it and it's simple and effective.
