An article in the West Australian on June 18th caught my attention. Steve Harris from advertising agency 'The Brand Agency' was speaking at the Direct Marketing Association Conference here in Perth.
In his presentation he described the local advertising industry as 'The Bermuda Triangle' of the advertising industry as agencies and clients continually fail to take advantage of the opportunities in digital media.
Could this quote also apply tov the local screen industry?
What do you think, are we cutting edge or edge of the earth?

I do not know if we are even as exotic as the Bermuda triangle, maybe a desert plain would be a better analogy.

Bermuda Triangle implies that things may at some point escape should the aliens or whover decide to return them.
As long as the nation does this sort of thing we don't so much vanish all things contemporary as repell it with a forcefield powered by pure stupidity.
