Hi there guys! There are a stack of places open for people willing to be volunteer extras this Sunday morning at Picadilly Cinema in Perth for a feature film! As long as you're over 16 years of age, we'll have you! No experience needed, just enthusiasm!
The movie is about a struggling director who dreams of one day making it big in Hollywood and does all kinds of crazy stuff to fulfil her dream!
The role on offer on the 12th is as an audience member for the big finale scene where the director gets her work screened at the Cannes Film Festival. All we require is some cheering and clapping on cue. I have a note below this paragraph from the costume girl which details what we'd like people to wear, if you have any questions concerning costume, you can call her on 0423 174 526:
------------
For Men: White (or similar) shirts, preferably without a print or stripe. Black (preferable) or dark grey suit, or trousers and jacket (if you have one). Please also bring a black neck tie or bow tie if you have one, and black or dark coloured dress shoes. The general feel is that you're at Cannes Film Festival and need to be dressed to the absolute nines, so this is a great time to bust out your good suit and cufflinks! Please also have your hair done neatly (if you have any!).
For Women: Glamorous evening wear and accessories (dresses, elegant tops and skirts, hair pieces, gloves, jewellery, handbags, stoles and wraps) suitable for a Cannes Film Festival screening. Please also have your hair and makeup looking its absolute best.
-------------
We'll have tea, coffee and biscuits on hand, as well as various other snacks and of course you'll get an invite to the screening of the proper film when it's finished!
It'll be a lot of fun, with a full professional crew and a nice short shooting period.
We'd like it if you were on set by 9:00am and we'd be all wrapped up by 12:00pm.
The shoot will be happening at Picadilly Cinemas in the centre of Perth, where the owners have generously let us shoot. There's elevator access and the chairs are very comfy!
If you would like to be a part of this, please either respond to this message, or you can contact our casting co-ordinator, Tim Sharp, for more details on 0400 538 692 or at perthfeaturefilmcasting@gmail.com
