Before you get too excited people - because I've already advertised a feature about six months before this (which is still in production at present), this is an extremely niche and topically 'controversial' film concept - and should not be entered into lightly. It requires one male and female actor who are not afraid to put the (sounds a bit exaggerated, but it's a fitting expression for the concept) 'depths of their acting ability' on screen.
Though I'm skimping the details of what the film idea entails, let's just say it's a very intense and affecting drama topic - dealing with a difficult social issue (which I feel is not explored with enough honesty and a direct enough approach)
Specifically, it requires one male and female actors, between the strict ages of eighteen and nineteen;
- preferably a male of some height and composure; yet able to instill an air of introversion and social isolation. Anxious, but physically able.
- The female role is more 'open' to variations, yet the male character should remain physically adept in size and ability to her.
Both characters are designed to be given near complete actor control - that is, they are mostly unscripted; although this applies more to the female role, which is far more dominant then the male. Both characters however are intended to have incredibly deep conflicts, physical, emotional and psychological within themselves - and actors should note that their abilities will be stretched to the absolute maximum to achieve the greatest possible acting result. It is essentially an actors piece - and to an extent, the female actor has the ability to almost 'direct' the film entirely on her own past the halfway point.

But I cannot overstate that this is strictly for actors willing to be completely physically and emotionally challenged. Possibly ideologically as well. In that respect, it's either one of the most dangerous roles you'll find (and if you have moral obligations, definitely going to have trouble here, or if you have parents who would object to such a role), or perhaps the most deep character role and performance - depends really on just how far you are willing to push yourself in acting roles.

Seeing as this is an independent production - working with a small crew (which will vary in size through production most likely), this is not an advert screaming for actors right this moment - it's a heads up really. Given that it takes time to build characters into the complex beings they're going to be onscreen in the final result - the earliest this would begin shooting would be mid next year. Correspondence between you and I would be weekly, either by virtual contact or in person, depending on the stage of pre-production. Despite the low budget nature of this film, the two actors would be paid for their performances (but let's not kid ourselves here - most of us are poor hopefuls aspiring to make good films, so it will not be a huge settlement). The weekly correspondence ensures we keep each other informed, and direct the film into production with as few mishaps as possible. That said, from past experience, no film shoot ever seems to be perfect - but we'll see just how it goes when we get there, hm?
