Writing 'Damages'

| | Comments (0)
There's an interesting article at the NEW YORK TIMES about the way they plan, write and produce the television program 'Damages'.

If you haven't seen the first series of the show, be warned, they are spoilers in the article.   It a great show, worth checking out on DVD, I found it very gripping and watched all 12 episodes within 2 days.

It's interesting that the network committed to the show without knowing the full story and allowed the writers to work it out as they went along.   I wonder how much of that pressure and freedom factored into the great originality that comes through in the storyline.
