If you've been in down to the Film and Television Institute recently you might have noticed some changes occuring as some removations have spruced up parts of the building. Boldly coloured walls of blue and chilli red have appreared, lush palms in massive pots and classy new furniture have been delivered.
The renovations have been made possible though a generous donations of many people's weekends and participantion fundraising activities.
If you haven't been down to FTI for a while come and visit us and take a look at the changes.

With just 30 minutes left on the clock only a few comic book artists remain, colouring in final pages, coming up with innovative ways to make it to 24 pages, and carefully watching as the final minutes tick away.

Everyone's been working hard for a few hours now, and has the other people begin to leave the building, the comic artists continue on drawing through the night ahead.

The Western Australian section of International 24 Hour Comics Day has begun at the Film and Television Institute in Fremantle. This event sees FTI team up with ARTRAGE for the third consecutive year.
THis event is growing, in previous years we have been the only Australian location, but this year sees the welcome inclusion of two locations in Sydney.
The challenge is to create a 24 page comic in just 24 hours.

Check out this amazing promotion for the TV series 'Dexter', across different cities in the US they set up news stands where every single magazine had leading man Michael C Hall on the front cover. It would be a great experiential advertising connection when someone walked up to the stand for the paper.

Work has begun on creating an animated music video for late blooming 60's rock bank Prufrock. The project which is part of the KEYFRAME program at the FTI animation centre is creating a comedic narative based video for the track 'Too Young'.
