Daniel Balint is the Coordinator of the MAKING MOVIES ROADSHOW (MMR) which is the Film & Television Institute’s annual regional touring program that offers digital filmmaking workshops and outdoor cinema screenings to people living in remote communities in regional Western Australia.The MMR program provides film skills training, education and cultural benefits to regional people, but most importantly the filmmaking project builds self-esteem within regional communities through capturing and sharing the region’s unique stories on film and assisting in the preservation of Australia’s cultural heritage.

Mandy is the Producer/ Coordinator of the Indigneous Community Stories initiative, a joint partnership between ScreenWest and FTI.
The aim of Indigenous Community Stories is to enable Indigenous communities across Western Australia to record, archive and maintain their culture through professional broadcast-quality recordings. Over the next three years, the Indigenous Community Stories initiative will fund the gathering of a minimum of 100 stories and digitally archive them to be used over the next century.
