Richard Mahony

Richard is the manager of sound business Toad Hall Studios. He studied Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Music. Richard has worked in the film industry for over 15 years as a sound editor and mixer. He has received several WA Screen Awards for sound design, worked on AFI-winning films and is a lifetime member of the Film and Television Institute.

Paul is an aclaimed documentary filmmaker whose work includes the award winning films ‘Land of Little Kings’, ‘Don’t Say Sorry’ and most recently ‘Mobile’. Paul mentors and shares his knowledge with many early career filmmakers.

Paul has been honoured by the West Australian Screen community with an Outstanding Contribution to Industry Award at the 2003 WA Screen Awards and is a Life Member of the Film and Television Institute.
